Deogo and Ella’s painting birthday party!

So I’ve been meaning to share these for the past week but I’m crazy busy and the days flew by like there was no tomorrow. I shared the invitation a few weeks ago for this artist theme and let me tell you…This was such a self entertaining party, the adults had as much fun as the kids as everyone let a little splash of color paint its way around.

We mainly used

  1.  Water based color
  2.  Color pencils
  3.  Crayons
  4.  Drawing pencils.
  5.  Drawing pads
  6. Coloring books
  7. Canvas.

My beautiful mother made the aprons which all guests got to take along with a wooden pencil/blush holder as souvenir and of course their masterpiece.

My adorable sister made special hand written Calligraphy cards. I opted to place the birthday boy/girl age inside a frame with these cards and their name instead of the big old banner…this party was about creativity, art and loved the modern look. Thank you Sarah B. from Stylish Givings.

The cake lady, Yanneris: AKA ( la mujer de lo biscochoz y macaron) as usual exceeded my expectations with the design of the cake inspired by the invitations. She also made cake pops and had the oh so creative idea to place them on paint palettes to image paint squirts.
